Because of Grasshopper's fast response, quality, and versatility, Grasshopper 30-8-10 has become our most popular choice of fertilizer (above commercial 32 UAN and 46-0-0). This product is easy to mix and works well with herbicide. Because Grasshopper absorbs without rain, we have steady work throughout the month - not just before a rain. I have not seen a product that will go to work immediately and improve plant color without rain - until Grasshopper. ___________________________________ I have used Grasshopper this past year on our Bermuda hay fields with great results. We raise and market high quality Bermuda horse hay. When using Grasshopper Liquid Fertilizer - we noticed that the hay had better texture, smell, and color. We were also able to cut our fertilizer cost without losing quality or production of hay. ___________________________________ We produce 2,000-5,000 round bales of hay per year. I have done very well using Grasshopper Fertilizer on my Bermuda Hay fields. I could see an improvement in color and production. The low cost of Grasshopper has allowed us to market quality hay at a competitive price. For us, less money in our hay means less competition. ___________________________________ We run 300-500 head of yearlings each spring on wheat. Our average daily gain is 2-2.4 lbs per day. After spraying these pastures with Grasshopper, our average daily gain has gone up to 2.8-3.2 lbs per day. We have also had great results spraying Grasshopper on our hay meadows. Grasshopper has done an excellent job improving the quality of our pastures and hay for a minimal price ($20-$30 per acre). ___________________________________ We have been using Grasshopper for 5 years. We use Grasshopper as a complete substitute to commercial fertilizer. We primarily use Grasshopper 30-10-10 and the 20-20-20 or 46-0-0 in certain circumstances. We sell 5,000 to 10,000 round bales per year. Our customers range from the Texas panhandle to Florida. Lowering our fertilizer costs has lowered our hay prices. With lower hay prices, we're able to pocket higher profit margins on a good year and compete on price during a bad year (when others are stuck with last year's hay). We also spray our horse and cattle pasture monthly using Grasshopper as a supplemental feed. Our soil quality has remained stable during this period. |
